D'banj drops new single "OYATO"

Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo (D’Banj)Today Nigerian singer- songwriter joined the trend of his fellow G.O.O.D music label mates and decided to release some new music.

The new track is titled “Oyato” which means “I’m Different” in Yoruba, which is a language of West Africa. “Oyato” is his lastest single after the release of “Oliver Twist” which topped out at number nine on the UK charts. The dance track features D’Banj showcasing one of his biggest talents: playing the harmonica, That is certainly an interesting talent for a pop artist to have. It may be weird but he is very good.

His signing to G.O.O.D music may have been a surprise to some but he has had success for a while now, He won Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV African Music Awards in 2009, and Best International Act at the 2011 BET Awards. If you are not familiar with his music you should really give “Oyato” a listen down below. Enjoy.
