Event Details

This concert is a unique event to mark major thresholds in the lives of 2 icons of Juju music. Evangelist Commander Ebenezer Obey’s 70th Birthday and King Sunny Ade’s 50th anniversary in the music industry.

It’s been about 35yrs since the 2 Legends have shared a stage! Who knows when the opportunity will come up again after this event.

Both musicians will perform alone then perform duets of their popular songs and Evergreen tracks that have sustained them as the leaders of the Juju scene over the years.

Support guest artistes will include Fatai Rolling Dollar (who was Commander Obey’s mentor) and vintage comedian Moses Olaiya (Baba Sala who was KSA’s Mentor).

The event will see other musicians and comedians from the new generation performing as well. Many have tried to make this happen but now it’s coming to you live on the 27th of May 2012 @ The HARBOUR POINT, 4 Wilmot Rd, Off Ahmadu Bello way, Victoria Island, Lagos – RED CARPET (2PM)

There are only 800seats available and they are going fast….
