Teen's entire family wiped out by robbers in south Africa
A 19-year-old Pretoria teenager is the only living member of his family
after his father died of complications from a gunshot wound sustained in
a robbery.
it was reported that armed robbers shot dead Linda Coetzee, 47 and Ruan Coetzee, 21, in a robbery in Wonderboom seven months ago.
Sport physiologist Kobus Coetzee, 47, was shot three times and one of the bullets became lodged in his back.
Private investigator Mike Bolhuis was probing the matter and said Coetzee had complained last week about pain in his stomach.
Coetzee had undergone an operation and died on Monday morning at 03:00.
The last remaining member of his family, Dewald Coetzee said: “It is a very difficult time. It’s tough, but I’m getting a lot of support from my family.”
He said his aunts, uncle and his girlfriend were supporting him.
Bolhuis said he was still looking for those responsible. “We are working day and night to catch them.”
